Luxury Products and Film – Dior Jumps on the Bandwagon
Insight by Leah
Luxury brands are realizing that it’s increasingly difficult to grab consumers’ attention these days. Following on Chanel’s lead, Dior is releasing a film starring Marion Cotillard (Oscar winner, La Vie en Rose) as the mysterious "Lady Dior" – a Hitchcock-style film that features Cotillard and the Lady Dior handbag. The film is set to be released over Memorial Day weekend. Film and other forms of media are becoming increasingly popular as luxury brands struggle to both reach a broader audience and maintain an exclusive, unique image.

The film was released today – it’s a stunning tribute to Hitchcock-style films, and of course, Marion Cotillard looks amazing. John Galliano designed the costumes for the film as well.
